Lesson overview
This lesson explains how the course is divided into sections, lessons, quizzes, labs, and the final capstone. It clarifies the relationship between the official programme components and the LMS teaching sequence.
By the end of this lesson, the learner should be able to:
Lesson content
Section logic: Sections 1 to 5 mirror the official knowledge and application components of the programme. Section 0 prepares the learner to study well, and Section 6 brings the learning together in an applied solution.
Assessment rhythm: Every major section includes lesson content, a mini-lab or assignment, and a short quiz. These are formative checks designed to reveal gaps early instead of waiting until the end of the programme.
Time budgeting: A six-month programme only works when learners study regularly. A practical approach is to reserve two theory sessions, one hands-on session, and one review session each week.
Evidence tracking: Learners should keep screenshots, notebooks, code files, maps, and reflection notes. These artefacts make later portfolio assembly far easier.
Applied practice
Create a weekly study timetable showing at least four recurring study blocks and one backup slot for missed work.
Evidence of completion
Upload a timetable screenshot or PDF and note any foreseeable study constraints.
